This policy explains what Blackforest Advisors PLLC collects through this website, why, and how to reach us about it. Our office is at 155 Fleet St, Portsmouth, NH 03801.
What we collect
When you send a message through the contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number, and message you type. When you call or email us, we keep the details you share so we can reply.
The web server records the IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of each visit in its logs. We use those logs to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
We use your contact details to answer your question, schedule a call, and, if you become a client, to do the work you engage us for. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Cookies and outside services
The site sets a small number of cookies so it can work, for example to remember a form you started. Some pages embed a Google map of our office, and Google sets its own cookies when that map loads. If we add analytics, it will be Google Analytics, which records anonymized visit data. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the pages still load.
Who sees your information
Contact form messages go to Bill Borden by email and are stored on the website’s hosting account, which Hostinger runs in the United States. Google receives the map and, if enabled, analytics data described above. We may disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for one year, then delete them. Client records are kept for the period our professional standards and the IRS require, which is at least seven years for tax work.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email the address below and we will answer within 30 days. Client records that the law requires us to keep stay in place until that period ends.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS. Please leave account numbers, Social Security numbers, and tax documents out of the contact form. Once we work together, we set up a secure way to share documents.
Children
This site is for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
